Because life happened.

Why is there so much time between Maegi 2 and Maegi 3?

Because life happened.

As I was working on Tales from the King's Court, my dad was diagnosed with cancer and things went to shit fast. About 18 days after I released the album, he passed away. It was not a pleasant process either. Most of Maegi 2; I recorded under extreme stress and pain.

Then, I found myself pulled more into my writing. It was fresh. It helped me move away from things.

Then my wife and I moved to Canada, started a new life, and lived through hell and back for five years until we could find our grounding financially.

So, it was not on my priority list to make music. First, you need to eat.

Slow Motion Suicide is a special album; it reflects my last 10 years. I am beyond those songs now as well, as time moved on, but I am happy with what is coming.
